First Dates is a Minneapolis-based instrumental duo that puts a strong focus on beats and melodies. Aaron Rosell (keyboards & auxiliary) and Shawn Bortel (drums & percussion) also have a love for the north shore. So much, in fact, that their debut video (see below) was shot up there. I was able to view the video prior to its release to gain inspiration for their poster. The design combines their love for the north shore with the Minneapolis skyline.
